The BEST Way to Learn Piano as a Music Producer

When learning piano/keyboard, I think more producers/artists need to focus on learning the language and playing by ear (and basic theory). Songwriters too. Basic Jazz piano has all the ingredients we need to learn to make music as we learn to play piano, once we've built a solid foundation.

I'm completely self taught on the piano. I'm not a piano teacher and I made this video to share the way I think about this because been one of the biggest musical breakthroughs I've ever had. I wish someone had sat me down and explained this to me five years ago, so I hope this video can be that for someone.

Some of my descriptions here are a little vague so feel free to fact check me if you've got more experience in a particular area - again, piano isn't my area of expertise, I'm coming at this from a music production perspective.
