The first track off of Exodus’s 1985 debut album. Written by guitarist Gary Holt and the late singer Paul Baloff. After Kirk Hammett left the band, Exodus recruited Rick Hunolt to share the guitar duties with Holt. Things clicked right away and they went into the studio. They recorded the songs live instead of tracking instruments individually. Pirated copies of the album made their way out. To combat this, Exodus delayed the album’s release as to not be lumped in with the awful sounding pirated versions.
