Lampan, based on stories written by Prakash Narayan Sant is a tale of a dreamy child with unbounded curiosity. At a young age, Lampan comes to live in the village with his grandparents, leaving behind his family in the city. He is thrown into this whole new world inhabited by a loving but strict grandmother, a maverick grandfather, new classmates, and over interfering neighbors.

Witness the almost imperceptible and gentle manner of his growing up and adjusting to a totally new way of life. Gradually, finding his place, his people, and a strong sense of belonging.

प्रसिद्ध लेखक प्रकाश नारायण संत ह्यांच्या पुस्तकावर आधारित, अत्यंत स्वप्नाळू आणि आपल्या सभोवतालाबद्दल कुतूहल असणाऱ्या लंपन ह्या निरागस मुलाची ही गोष्ट. अगदी लहान वयात आपल्या आई-वडिलांचं शहर सोडून, तो आज्जी-आजोबांकडे राहायला आपल्या मामाच्या छोट्याश्या गावात येतो. प्रेमळ पण अगदी कडक शिस्तीची आज्जी, सतत कामात गुरफटलेले कलंदर आजोबा, नवीन वर्गमित्र आणि शेजारी ह्यांनी वेढलेल्या वेगळ्याच जगात लंपन सुरुवातीला अडखळतो, घाबरतो. मात्र काही दिवसांतच लंपन हळुहळू ह्या गावात मित्र जोडतो, सगळ्यांना आपला लळा लावतो आणि गावाचाच एक भाग होऊन जातो.
