3. SOUNDBITE (English) Colin Firth, actor - on winning the best actor awards:
"Relief is an interesting way to put it. Yeah, there is a build up, so it is joyous when it is over and to have colleagues with me, that's the best thing about it really."
Reporter: You are the first person since Rod Steiger in 1968 to win back to back BAFTAs. That must mean a lot?"
Firth: "That is good company."
Reporter: "Tonight in your speech you mentioned a medical exam."
Firth: "Just a usual insurance medical."
Reporter: "Colin, it wasn't just you, it was Helena, it was Geoffrey....it was across the board wasn't it?"
Firth: "Well this is it. That was the moment that I lost my composure a bit. They were with me on this, it was such a team effort you know, you get close to people when you do a film like this and so it doesn't seem to make sense for one of us to pick up one of these and it not be all of us, so I am overjoyed about that."
Reporter: "Can you sum up your reaction - not only for you but for the whole film?"
Firth: "Well it is that really. I just wanted it be to represented as the extraordinary collaboration that it was. It feels very very strange when you have a team effort like this for it to be anything but everybody."

6. SOUNDBITE (English) Helena Bonham Carter, actress - on how she felt going on stage to collect her award:
"Well it looked...Well I didn't quite, it's always an out of body experience, so you just have to gather your thoughts in some kind of form, but I did go on and on, but I thought whatever, I might not ever be up here again."
Reporter: "I thought it was a great speech and how are you guys, of course the next stop is the Oscar, but do you guys get fed up of spending so much time together at the moment?"
Bonham Carter: "No, it is good company, really good company. It's sad that Geoffrey is not here, but Colin and Geoffrey are two of the funniest and cleverest people and chatty, really talkative, so it's always good company and Tom, you know, everyone is... I think we are just so...we feel privileged to be part of, to be in a hit, there are very few hits that happen and to be in one - I won't take that for granted, it's amazing and it is amazing to touch people and make people feel happy in some way for just to hours. That's what we are here for."

9. SOUNDBITE (English) David Seidler, screenwriter, "The King's Speech" - on the film winning on home turf:
"It could have been unpredictable. The British voters could have said 'yes, but the film is getting so much recognition overseas, lets give the awards to something that is a local homegrown film that hasn't done quite as well overseas,' so it could have happened that way, but I am very very gratified that they awarded us."
