Here is a very quick and easy way to add a glow to your moon or planetary images on photoshop.

Original lunar image was cuptured by myself and processed through PIPP, then into autostakkert to stack. after that I put it into registax to adjust the wavelets and finally into photoshop.

I then used a simple technique to produce the glow.
