How to turn photos into cute handmade illustrations in procreate. In this video, I show why references are critical for painting and how you can interpret photos into intricate illustrated scenes in Procreate.

The watercolor texture/effect you saw in this video is because I'm using a combination of brushes and a paper texture in Procreate:

- little pine brush (in the Drawing tab)
- *Amazing watercolor kit for Procreate (brushes and texture)
- *Blacksands paper texture (optional texture but it's nice)

Basically I used the brushes from the watercolor kit together with the blacksands texture.
