I am in the process of remodeling an 80 year old farmhouse in the greater Portland area. Part of the remodel has involved adding 1 & 1/2 baths to the previously 1 bath home. The limited space in the small 1/2 bath presented challenges as to how to include a sink area. I found a small wall mounted sink which worked dimensionally but didn't feel complete. Additionally, with four kids in the house I was a little dubious of the durability of the two porcelain mounting points and wanted more support for the sink. While walking through my local hardwood supplier I found a perfectly shaped live-edge walnut slab. There are lots of things I would have liked to explain or show differently in this build but as my first youtube video it is what it is.
