WATCH: Ribbon cutting and press conference for new CURE Auto Insurance office in Detroit. This will be the company’s first location since entering Michigan in July 2021 on the heels of the state’s car insurance reform laws. The company partnered with the Detroit Economic Growth Corporation and Detroit at Work to bring the office to the city and anticipates growing its staff from 60 to 100 people over the next two years.

Today, the company insures approximately 75,000 cars in Michigan with 58% being residents of Detroit. Of the CURE-insured drivers 94% have taken advantage of the new No-Fault PIP options and the average savings per policy was approximately 41%. Further, nearly 68% of these drivers did not have coverage.
