No matter your size or appearance, fashion is for everyone! We sat down with two Utah-based fashion designers on Roots, Race & Culture to chat about advertising in the fashion world.

Did you know? Böhme was the first Utah-based apparel company to use a Black woman in an advertisement.

“You know, we don't have a lot of diversity, so it's even hard to find Utah models,” said Fernanda Bohme of böhme. “And now, looking back, […] we were one of the first to use, you know, minorities, Black females in advertisements.”

Kenneth Boggs of Kenneth Boggs Custom spoke on size inclusivity. “When I look at my NFL athletes, we’re bigger guys, right? Because there’s a ‘Hey, I want to look like you, but I want to be like this size.’ ‘I want to wear this, but I don’t know if I could wear this.’ I’m like, ‘Oh, let me show you somebody that looks just like you, wearing this exact same suit.’”
