7 Activities For Problem Solving - 4C's and Skills Based Learning

This is a continuation of the skills based learning videos. Today we will look at some ideas for problem solving - aka critical thinking.

Critical thinking is one of the 4Cs of 21st Century Skills. Within that is problem solving. This has been something I have worked on with my girls from a very early age. Problem Solving is the process of finding solutions to difficult issues. Problems do not have to be HUGE (though, any sort of obstacle might feel huge to a small child) but are something you need to find a solution for.

There are many great activities you can do to help children learn how to problem solve. Like a muscle that needs to be used and strengthened, so it is with skills. We need to learn and then practice them.
