ONE IMPORTANT key to SUCCESS in BIRD PHOTOGRAPHY

One important key to success in bird photography is knowing your subject. The whinchat is a bird that nests in area with low vegetation. I spent hours scouting for this bird. My goal was to photograph this small bird in flight or landing. I use a great photo technique to do this. Small birds are too fast for auto focus.
I used the nikon Z9 with a nikon 500mm f4 FL lense.
