Archeage Freshwater Sport Fishing Tutorial

In this tutorial I show you the basics of what you need to participate in freshwater sport fishing in the Archeage release client.

Basic fishing will make you go bankrupt before you hit 10,000 skill because each cast gives you 5 skill points, at roughly 3 silvers per bait worm. Sport fishing becomes profitable after just a few casts, but requires a lot of patience, and a bit of luck.

Quick Summary:
Buy some yellow lures from the blue salt trader (or a fishing boat's chum bucket) and a couple of baits to get the fish in a frenzy, in the event no other players are around that have the bait.

Look for birds flocking over the water, which indicates there's a school of fish under them. To put them in a feeding frenzy, use Chum if it is Carp or Electric Eels, and use Chopped Squid (both bought with badges or on the AH) if it is an Arowanas school.
