Mike Rutherford/Anthony Phillips (Genesis) - F Sharp (The Musical Box demo)

Qui potete ascoltare la demo originale del noto brano The Musical Box dei Genesis, composta, suonata e registrata da Mike Rutherford ed Anthony Phillips con due chitarre. Sebbene spesso erroneamente accreditata al solo Phillips, quest'ultimo ha dichiarato che in realtà era una creazione di entrambi. Anzi, gran parte della demo venne proprio da Rutherford.
L'intera canzone poi fu completata con Tony Banks, che aggiunse la seconda metà della coda (dopo il "Touch me now now now...") e Peter Gabriel, che aggiunse il testo e la voce.

Here's the original demo of the song The Musical Box by Genesis, that was written, played and recorded by Mike Rutherford and Anthony Phillips. Although often mistakenly credited to the only Phillips, he declaired that the demo was a creation of both Mike and him. In fact, most of the demo came from Rutherford.
The entire song was then completed with Tony Banks, who added the second part of the coda (after "Touch me now now now..."), and Peter Gabriel, who added lyrics and vocals.
