Antique 1886 Isaac Hollis Dangerous Game .577 Snider Double Rifle built from a 10 gauge SXS via sleeving the barrels will modern weapons grade steel rifling that was hand cut (not button) by Larry Romano of Romano Rifle Company in NY. Thanks Larry!

This is the first real test fire at the Rock Farm in AZ. Powder charge is 110gr of FF Standard Black Diamond Black Powder pushing a .58 caliber swagged solid lead 585gr Minie Bullet (and yes I know I misspoke in the video... not a Maxie), which was the maximum that would fit in the casing. I will eventually have a special Minie bullet mold made to my specifications and then switch to FFF for a bit more power. Really nice shooting gun with about the recoil of a 12 gauge. Just the beginning of the accuracy process.

SPECIAL NOTE: The powder charge is for "THIS SPECIFIC GUN" NOT for an original 1860's .577 Snider carbine or rifle that would never take that pressure. I use 60gr of FF in all the older original Sniders as the actions are no where near as strong as this massive 10 gauge conversion.
