Creating an acrylic painting of corn

1. **Acrylic paints**: Yellow, green, brown, white, and black.
2. **Canvas or acrylic paper**.
3. **Brushes**: Various sizes including fine detail brushes.
4. **Palette**.
5. *Water and a container* for rinsing brushes.
6. **Palette knife
- Apply a base coat or background color if desired. Let it dry.

- Lightly sketch the outline of the corn with a pencil.


- Paint the corn kernels with a base yellow color.
- Paint the husk with green, using darker and lighter shades for depth.
- Use a smaller brush to add variations in the yellow to create the appearance of individual kernels.
- Add white or lighter yellow highlights where light would naturally hit.
- Use a bit of brown or darker yellow to add shadows and depth between the kernels.
- Add fine lines to represent the veins in the husk.
- Use a fine brush to add any small details or corrections.
