As we enter Ordinary Time, Fr. Denis reflects on Mark 1:29–39, where Jesus moves from celebration into mission by healing the sick.

In this Gospel, Jesus enters Simon’s home and heals his mother-in-law. Immediately, she gets up and begins to serve Him. Her response reminds us that healing is not the end of the story! Healing leads us to gratitude, service, and new life.

Fr. Denis invites us to reflect:
• Jesus does not wait for us to find Him — He comes to us
• He enters our homes and our daily lives
• He heals us in body, mind, and spirit
• And He calls us, once healed, to rise and serve others with thankful hearts

Let us celebrate the good news that Jesus is here, He heals us, and He sends us out to love and serve.
