Note: Announcer Gavin Wood was great at inserting artist-specific puns in his top 10 countdowns- take particular note of his announcements of Cyndi Lauper, The Thompson Twins, Mel Brooks, .

The segment and episode conclude with Molly Meldrum leading into the number 1 song of the week, Kenny Loggins' single 'Footloose'.

Vaxfacts: Molly makes reference to Fiona Coote, who at the time was the youngest heart transplant recipient in Australia. She received her new heart on April 8, 1984, at the age of 14, the operation performed by the late cardiothoracic surgeon Dr Victor Chang at Sydney's St Vincent's Hospital. She endured a second heart transplant in 1986. Thankfully she is still with us, and enjoys good health.
