I hope all of you are doing good. Here, in this video I present to you Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, 1973 which talks about inherent powers of the High Court. As I have said in previous videos, High Court exercises a wide jurisdiction and discretion to deal with various complaints under Criminal Procedure Code and Section 482 speaks just that. In this video, I have covered important case laws under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code and I have also covered the guidelines which the High Court needs to keep in mind while dealing with Section 482 Crpc complaints.

When to quash the FIR, when to exercise the wide discretionary power have all been dealt with in great detail in this video. After watching this video I assure you that you need not refer any book or notes for reading and understanding this provision.
