The Troy Historical Society recently transformed its space inside 59 Fenner Ave. into a walkthrough exhibit titled “Troy’s Greatest Generation — The World War II Honor Board.” The display honors the lives of Troy area’s late World War II veterans. Troy Historical Society’s Director of Education Bill Brasington was gracious enough to guide us through the exhibit and offer a glimpse of what guests can experience when they visit.
"What we’re doing here at the Troy Historical Society is an exhibit that is centered on veterans from Western Bradford County and the Troy school District area that went off to war during World War II. The names that we have here were on an honor board located downtown where people could find out who had enlisted who had been drafted and was gone off somewhere during the war."

Brasington explained, "There are 592 people here and their stories; and if I took 592 marbles and dropped them on the floor, they would go to every corner of the room. These 592 people went to every corner of the war."

The exhibit was opened on Memorial Day and will be on display until the Fourth of July.
