During the Renaissance era, the Italian city of Florence was a fountain of new ideas in fine arts, architecture and philosophy. In this Gilded Age the city’s artisans rose to fame for their leather craftsmanship whose quality and skill was admired throughout Europe. To this day, the city prides itself on its finest leather goods which combine elegant style with painstaking workmanship. The Florentine leather craft has been a perpetual source of inspiration for artisans all over the world.

Unique in the world of fine writing, each of the Montblanc Meisterstuck Great Masters writing instruments is finished with a hand stitched seam. The cap and barrel of the LeGrand sized writing instruments are encased in red Python leather. The “Ponte Vecchio”arch bridge is engraved as stylized silhouette on the cone. De Montblanc emblem on the top of the cap is made of mother-of-pearl.

The Montblanc Meisterstück Great Masters fountain pen uses a piston filling mechanism and has a 18kt gold nib with an embossing of an Python pattern.

The Montblanc Meisterstück Great Masters collection comes in a white lacquered wooden box as well as slip lid box are inspired by a stylish silhouette of the famous bridge “Ponte Vecchio”.
