The Songwriters: An Evening with John Kander & Fred Ebb

Transferred this from my original VHS copy and after making copious 'cleanups' I am hoping it is appropriate to show here. This was part of the Lyrics and Lyricists Series at the 92nd Street Y on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. It was released on VHS (and subsequently cassette and CD) around 1978. It's a lovely exploration of their songs with John Kander sits at the piano (getting a few of the solos in the process) with his partner Ebb serving as the MC as well as singing most of the songs (and giving a glimpse into where Liza developed a great deal of her...personality).
