Photogrammetry: Gear and Fieldwork - Part 1

Описание к видео Photogrammetry: Gear and Fieldwork - Part 1

This is the first part of a video where I show you how to produce a scaled and georeferenced photogrammetric model using a relatively cheap set-up without unmanned aerial vehicles nor an expensive survey instrument such as a total station or a GNSS RTK.

In this video, I focus on describing the equipment and the fieldwork.

Intro: (00:00)
Equipment: (1:16)
Fieldwork: (10:56)
Street survey: (23:40)

This method does not replace these instruments. If you are looking for a more reliable method and higher quality, this video is not for you, or it might be as long as you are aware that this technique is mostly aimed at producing a simple 3D model. This model can be used to produce a relatively accurate topographic map and perhaps for preliminary analysis.

This video will try to show you the fundamentals of photogrammetry or Structure from motion or Multi-view stereo applied to St John the Evangelist Church - http://www.brandonparish.org.uk/Welco...

I'm showing you how to use some reference points on our model that are visible in Google Earth so we can georeference it to use it on a GIS program.
