ABOUT
Strangelet is the debut album of the cosmic rock band Eventstellar, founded by Jon Gilmour, Eoin Belfield, Nevan Lochlann, and Jessen Einheimur. Recorded across Reykjavik, Dublin, and London in early 2017, the album is a cross-continental collaboration of ambient textures, cosmic rock structures, and lyrical metaphysics.

Blending science and mysticism, Strangelet traces the evolution of the universe and the self from tachyonic pulses and ancient stars to the haunting stillness of the Boötes Void and the emotional echo of alternate lives.

The album takes its name from the theoretical particle strangelet — a hypothetical form of matter capable of transforming everything it touches. Like its namesake, the record reflects themes of destabilization, transformation, and the unknown.
