My trusted HP54600B oscilloscope's screen was starting to show its age. I was going to either refurbish or upgrade the monitor part, and so I decided to give it a much-needed cleaning and once-over, inside and out
Also, recently I scored a replacement second-hand monitor module, which also needed a repair to make it fully functional again... here's how I did it
