You only know what kind of fish are in the pond when it dries up!

There was a big, deep pond—fish were splashing all over the place. Anyone passing by would think, “Wow, there must be some giant fish in there.”

One day, a group of guys—Third, Fourth, Seventh, Fifth, and Sixth—decided to drain the whole pond, hoping to hit the jackpot with a haul of big snakeheads or catfish.

As the water started to drop, the fish thrashed even harder. The more splashing, the more excited the guys got. “This is going to be a big one!” they thought. Snakeheads, catfish, giant gourami—just waiting to be scooped up.

Finally, the pond was almost dry. It was go time. The guys jumped in, ready to grab the prized catches. They pulled up fish weighing two or three kilos each.

But here’s the twist—none of them were snakeheads or catfish.

They were all suckerfish—those glass-cleaner bottom-feeders.

Even weirder, some of them had mixed with flowerhorns—the ornamental fish someone had randomly dumped in the pond.
