Namibia came out swinging, securing their first victory in the ICC Men's Cricket League 2 against the favoured Dutch side. Despite losing the toss and batting first, Namibia put up a commendable total of 203 runs in a 45 overs per side match.

But it was Namibia's bowlers who truly shined, putting up a formidable defense against the Netherlands' chase. The Dutch struggled to keep up, ultimately falling short at 179 runs all out in 43.5 overs. Bernard Scholtz, Gerhard Erasmus and Jan Frylinck were all outstanding.

With this impressive win, Namibia has now claimed the top spot in the early running in the #CWCL2 table, setting the stage for an exciting series ahead where the 144 ODIs between the 8 teams will decide 4 of the qualification spots for the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup Qualifier.
