It’s time to pick a stain color for our red oak floors. I had a really tough time deciding especially because what I want, isn’t necessarily going to match our trim. So I had to compromise a little bit and pick something that would match the trim and be the lighter look I wanted. That’s okay though, I do think that it will end up beautiful!

I choose Minwax Oil-Based Golden Oak with a Water-Based Polyurethane in satin. Nothing that I tried here or even the Varathane brand lol. But that’s what happens!
