On December 9, 2024, the Republic of Maldives announced a tender concerning its Accelerating Sustainable System Development Using Renewable Energy Project (Loan No. 55191-MLD). The contract, identified as Package P-4, entails the procurement of a pre-development study, design, supply, installation, and maintenance of a pilot wind renewable energy system for Manadhoo Island.
