The Plains biome at the Indianapolis Zoo. A classic depiction of the African Savanna. A picturesque setting, that many zoos love to replicate. Indy’s version has just about everything you could ask for. There’s mixed herds of Zebras and Antelope. The beautifully patterned Giraffe that towers above the rest. The Lion, Africa’s most famous hunter. The massive, yet mostly docile White Rhino, and one of the best Elephant complexes around. Even better, you could have the chance to meet one of the majestic giants up close and personal!
