Industrial Steel Shed Main and Gable Frame 2D Analysis and Design in Staad Pro V8i Part-01

Industrial steel shed is an important structure in different factory project. It required huge open space with no intermediate column. Industrial shed is usually made with steel rafter/beam and column(build up or hot rolled). Where large open space is needed, a slope roof is constructed usually 1 in 10 with purlin and roof sheeting. This type of roof has a minimum of dead and live load but wind load is dominant. I have shown in my these video tutorial series how to completely design a industrial steel shed building main and gable frame using staad pro v8i software. 2D model creation then gravity load(DL & LL) assign and finally wind load assign in different member of wind ward and leeward. In this particular video tutorial I have shown how to make 2d model using plane in staad pro, define member size then assign member size, creating support and assign support at column, gravity load per code on rafter. And wind load definition and assign on column and rafter. In the last of this video I have also shown how to do load combination.
