I'm at the Miami Boat show here on the Fountaine Pajot Summerland 40 powercat. Power catamarans are becoming much more popular for private ownership and charter.

The Summerland 40 has a really good layout and nice flow. You come in on the same level from the outside, which is an open cockpit. Here you have a very workable galley to starboard, and a dinette to port that will probably seat 5 or 6. And then you go forward to a helm station that is fit for a king.

The Summerland 40 has a master stateroom that takes up the whole starboard hull. It starts with the bed athwartships, then a head with a separate stall shower, and then a technical room, where you have the genset, and an optional freezer.
