Espgaluda II - True Seseri / Shin Seseri 1CC (Asagi)

I wanted to accomplish this at least once, and I'm very happy that I have. Skip to 16:50 for the main event, if you like. Sorry if the fight itself seems a little anticlimactic, since the safest strategy with Asagi is simply to melt Seseri's second phase down before she can pull out her most annoying attacks.

The requirements for facing True Seseri -- also known as Shin Seseri, or by her official name, 憎悪に満ちたセセリ (roughly, "Seseri, Full of Hatred") -- are to not lose any lives before reaching Seseri at the end of stage 5, and to have raised your Kakusei Over level to maximum (which you will always want to do, regardless). If you meet those requirements, you will face an extra-hard alternate version of Seseri, the stage 5 boss, instead of the normal one. She serves as the game's "TLB" equivalent in a sense, despite neither being as hard as a real Cave TLB (at least with Asagi...), nor actually residing at the end of the game.

The hardest part of the run is just no-missing the first 5 stages, in my opinion, since once you reach Seseri herself, you're basically guaranteed to be sitting on 6 lives. I'm a pretty inconsistent player, so I was restarting a LOT in stages 2 and 3 before I finally got this run. Building a consistent (bombless) route for the final stretch of stage 5 also took some work, but I was lucky to get there with plenty of energy gauge this time, so it wasn't necessary.

During the victory lap (i.e. stage 6), I was taking absolutely zero chances, so I was using bombs on pretty much anything that I had even a 10% chance of dying to. The death on the first form of the stage 6 boss was due to a dumb mistake on my part, but no-missing the TLB felt pretty nice!
