Описание к видео Step-by-Step Install of Ventrac’s 12 Volt Front Kit

I just installed this 12 volt front kit on my Ventrac- it’s needed to run some of their attachments.
The first thing I did was tilt the seat forward so I could disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery.
It’s always good to disconnect the battery when you’re working on anything electrical.
Next, I removed the radiator screen. While I had it out, I decided to go ahead and clean it- if it’s plugged it can cause your engine to run hot or even overheat.
I pulled away the canvas debris barrier.
Then I installed this plug bracket.
Tractors with dual front hydraulics require a different bracket- Both brackets are included in the kit.
I bolted the four-pin plug to the bracket.
Next, I routed the wiring harness through the hole in the frame- following the hydraulic hoses.
Once I found the connector with the right colored wires, I removed the cap and connected the 12 volt harness.
I used a zip tie to hold the harness in place and two more on the outside around the hydraulic hoses.
It went fast with my helper reading the directions.
I took this cover off and loosened the jam nut on the SDLA lever; then I unscrewed the lever to remove it.
The new lever has an on/off switch and two momentary buttons.
I like the way it feels, it’s more ergonomic.
Once I had it positioned the way I wanted it- I tightened up the jam nut and it was good to go.
Next, I removed the control panel, there’s four bolts holding it on.
Then I routed the wiring harness from the new SDLA lever through the cutout in the frame into the right fender.
Once I located the correct connector, I removed the cap and connected the wiring harness to it.
The directions were easy to follow and explained everything in detail.
I also zip tied this wiring harness in place.
Finally, I took the cover off the fuse box and added a 5- and 15-amp fuse along with 3 relays.
The directions included a colored diagram showing where these go.
Unfortunately, at this point my helper got distracted by a bug.
They sent a decal with the kit labeling they buttons.
No sparks flew when I started it up- so we must have done something right.
Here’s where you plug in the attachments that require 12 Volt.
The lever goes in and out of float and there’s no clearance issues. Everything works as it should.

Ventrac makes a fan that attaches to the canopy- What do you guys think, should I get one? ‪@hausplans‬
