Cancer Survivor Story: Finding Treatment After Relapse | Beth's Multiple Myeloma Story (4 of 5)

Описание к видео Cancer Survivor Story: Finding Treatment After Relapse | Beth's Multiple Myeloma Story (4 of 5)

Beth was just 29 years old and the mother of two young kids when she was diagnosed with multiple myeloma. After first-line treatment of radiation, chemotherapy, and a successful stem cell transplant, she lived 12 years with no sign of myeloma.

In this segment, Beth focuses on what treatments she took for her multiple myeloma after it had become refractory to the 3 main classes of drugs used to treat myeloma. Not wanting to pursue CAR T-cell therapy, she describes her experiences with belantamab mafodotin (Blenrep), which did not work for her, and the combination of selinexor (XPOVIO), bortezomib (Velcade) and dexamethasone, which has been successful. See below for time codes.
