It was an absolute thriller for No. 5 Syracuse to open the season, as they picked up a win over #4 Northwestern in an NCAA tournament rematch from last year. Meaghan Tyrrell was terrific for the Orange, as she racked up a career-high 6 assists to go with her 2 goals. Megan Carney picked up 4 goals to lead the team. Delaney Sweitzer made a career-high 11 saves in goal for Cuse.
