SLOW SPEED MORSE CODE - Practice with Captions

Описание к видео SLOW SPEED MORSE CODE - Practice with Captions

Captions are provided to decode the QRS CW QSO messages. Paul reveals the true magic of QRS combined with homebrew radio gear! I waited for Paul, KY4CE, to finish his QSO with Jerry, W4LGJ, before calling Paul.

The technique of waiting for a conversation to finish, and then calling one of the stations is called "tail-ending". It is an easy way to make radio contacts. When tail-ending a QSO, be sure to send the call sign of the station you wish to contact, not just your own call sign.

Paul replied to me and told me about his homemade tube transmitter and solid-state receiver. This is yet another excellent QSO that reconfirms my theory that the quality of CW communications is more a function of the content of the information shared than it is of the transmission speed.

You can also change the speed of the code in this video by using the YouTube playback speed settings. Have fun and keep talking with your fingers!
