Evening Freight Trains at Carlisle

It's rare that I stop late into the evening during a visit to Carlisle, but this was one such occasion.

During the course of the evening I saw several Royal Mail class 325 EMUs trundling back and forth through Carlisle Station. There were also a couple of southbound Freightliner intermodal container trains, which were double-headed by class 90 locomotives. A quartet of Direct Rail Services locomotives - 68034, 68001, 88007 and 68005 - are seen repositioning 3 FNA nuclear flask wagons between Sellafield and Carlisle New Yard.
