As I've mentioned over on my tumblr before, my love for the IMP INC pilot is satisfying in a way I can’t say I’ve experienced to this extent! As far as I know, I’m a one person fandom, and that's ok! All the posts in the tag on tumblr are from me, and when I google/look up fan art and edits, the only results are mine! It's kinda cool! Obviously if more people get into it I’d be super excited about that too, but for now it really is just me! (as far as I know at least lol)

There’s just something specifically wild about feeling this alone with a piece of media. It’s kind of inspiring and weirdly motivational! It’s like, look how much I love this thing that no one else has even thought about in over 20 years! It goes to show that no matter how underground, forgotten, unsuccessful, or unnoticed your work may be, there’s a chance there’s still SOMEONE out there who absolutely LOVES IT!

Deep down I hope that makes Chris Reccardi feel happy. His long-lost and failed original pilot still has someone down here who feels super moved and inspired by it! Chris, this one goes out to you! Rest in peace.
