Most common issue on Craftsman T1600 steering hard , skips gears, won't steer straight or won't steer left.

This issue is caused from lack of lubrication and normal wear. We diagnose a bad steering gear and bearing so we remove and replace the bearing and steering rod.

This riding mower comes in not being able to steer to the left. We use a standard slap hammer (impact screwdriver) and MAP gas to heat up the steering rod.

This makes the bolt come out easy for the steering. Otherwise the bolt is hard to remove, easily stripped and difficult to remove. Heat helps if it is stuck on, which it usually is.
