On this most sacred day of Guru Purnima, thousands of seekers were blessed to be in the divine presence of ShivYog Maha Siddha Dr. Avdhoot Shivanand ji and ShivYog Acharya Dr. Ishan Shivanand ji at the in-person celebration in Milpitas, California. Simultaneously, tens of thousands around the world joined this powerful event live via Zoom, with seekers from over 40 countries coming together to celebrate this day of highest gratitude.

The collective energy of devotion, love, and surrender was palpable as seekers experienced divine bliss in the powerful vibrations of Guru Shakti.

Dr. Ishan Shivanand ji beautifully explained the significance of the Guru, likening the Guru to the moon—a calm, nurturing reflection of the Sun’s immense power. Just as the moon carries the light of the sun in a gentle way, the Guru carries and transmits the cosmic wisdom in a form that is accessible and transformative for the disciple. Just like the moon orbits the Earth, the Guru never leaves the side of the seeker, constantly guiding and protecting.

The celebration included the deeply sacred Guru Paduka Puja, a profound act of devotion symbolizing the disciple’s surrender and reverence at the Guru’s feet—performed with immense bhav and gratitude.

The event concluded with Mangal Aarti and divine chanting, uniting all hearts in a powerful current of oneness, devotion, and grace.

Truly, this Guru Purnima was a divine moment in time—an unforgettable spiritual gathering vibrating with love, transformation, and eternal gratitude to the Guru.
