Lullaby for a Princess [A Lion King AU Crossover]

After many days and nights of working on this project bit by bit I finally finished it.

I got the inspiration from both MLP, and TLK, the tale of The Two Brothers, Mufasa and Scar. And I after listening to this song for like the milllionth time thought why not make a story similar to both with two sisters instead?

This took way longer than I had intended it to be but oh well things happen I’m just glad it’s finally done 😅

•Storyline•
Long ago.. before the the Pridelands were ruled by only one.. Two sisters ruled over the Pride Rock and the lands around it.
Nala, the oldest was to become Queen as was her birthright to rule over the Pridelands. Her younger sister Kiara would also rule as Princess with her sister as royal siblings did. Kiara was in charge of keeping the Pridelands peace and helping to keep the balance of the circle of life. She patrolled the night and made sure all was well for their subjects as they slept.
The older was in charge of the day. She patrolled around making sure peace and harmony was kept between their subjects. Many times when she patrolled around the subjects would greet her shouting wonderful words praise for their Queen.
However her sister did not receive the same as when she patrolled all their subjects were asleep and therefore did not show much appreciation to their princess.
This saddened the young princess and she began to become jealous of her older sister who relished in all the praise and love of their subjects…
Patrolling the night was lonely and quiet.. while the day was full of the noises joy and laughter… why did her sister get all the glory while she was shunned in the night?
Her jealousy soon turned to hatred for her sister as she planned her demise…
One night she attacked her sister demanding for the throne. The sisters fought and attacked each other until finally it seems that Kiara as the upper hand as she knocks her sister to the ground and Nala is having a bit of a hard time getting up from her injuries.
Kiara walks up to her sister smiling in triumph as she nears her victory.
In a last desperate act Nala gets up to face her sister once more. And as his sister pounces to place the final blow Nala breaks the ancient law and uses the Roar of the Elders to banish her sister to the moon where she would remain for 1,000 winters…
As Nala comes to she realizes what she has done and cries in despair… she had never wanted for this to happen.. she loved her sister so much… she wished she could’ve gone back and made things right with her sister at the start.. maybe then none of this would’ve happened…
Many moons pass since that day and now Nala patrols the Pridelands at night as well as day doing the duties that once belonged to her sister. And every night when she goes out on patrol she sings a lullaby to her sister asking for her forgiveness… and she makes a promise that when her sister returns she will make things right, and when the 1,000 winters are up that they shall reunite and rule again together as they were always supposed to.. as sisters.
