I Found Pyrite Crystals (Fools Gold) in Michigan! Gem and Mineral Hunting the Great Lakes State

This has been a bucket list mineral for me for a very long time! I remember going into rock shops as a kid and being completely amazed at pyrite cubes. The cuboidal crystal structure just looks incredible to me. I had the pleasure to hunt this site in Michigan for clusters of these pyrite cubes. They are found in this limestone rock used as fill material under a bridge. I was thrilled to finally find some of this beautiful mineral to add to my collection!
