The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has made public the eligibility criteria for the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) Assistant Commandant (AC) Examination 2025. Aspirants have to fulfill the following eligibility criteria: -

1. Nationality:

Must be an Indian citizen.

Citizens of Nepal and Bhutan also come under the criteria.

2. Age Limit:

The age of a candidate should be between 20 to 25 years.

They are further relaxed as following: -

Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST): Up to 5 years.

Other Backward Classes (OBC): Up to 3 years.

Civilian Central Government Servants and Ex-Servicemen: Up to 5 years.

3. Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from a recognized university is required. Candidates who are in the final year awaiting results can apply under provisional registration but will be required to furnish proof of passing before final selection.

4. Physical Standards:

Height: Men: 165 cm; Women: 157 cm.

Chest (for men): 81 cm (minimum 5 cm expansion).

Weight: Men: 50 kg; Women: 46 kg.

5. Medical Standards:

Eyesight: Distant vision should be 6/6 or 6/9 for the better eye and 6/12 or 6/9 for the worse eye. Near vision should be N6 for the better eye and N9 for the worse eye.

Hearing: No degree of deafness or persistent ear discharge.

General Health: Free from chronic diseases, mental ailments, and physical disabilities.

Candidates are strongly recommended to carefully read the notification published by the UPSC for all the detailed contents and check if they stand eligible for them before applying.
