How epic (but tragic) has the whole Romeo/Indi/Ruby/Logan love square been?! It's like watching a train wreck, but you just can't look away! I am undoubtedly 100% Team Romeo with this and I think that Indi has been the ultimate reason why they've broken up, as opposed to fixing things. She was the one did the dirty on Romeo before he moved on with Ruby and I mean, can you blame him for wanting to spend more time with Ruby when they were still together considering the fact that she spent half their time together yelling at him and being a total cow! He made some contributions to the break up, but ultimately, I blame Indi.

On a more positive note, how fricking amazing has the acting been from all those involved (except for the actor who plays Logan - all he does is that creepy/smarmy smile) in this storyline! Samara's really upped her game with the emotive stuff and she nailed that scene were she was watching Ruby & Romeo pashing in the water together, before going home and crying in front of Sasha. I think that was the first scene that I've actually felt sorry for Indi in this. Luke, as always, has played the role of Mr Heartbroken amazingly and we've seen some strong scenes acting-wise from him and even more recently, he's done terrific portraying the pain with his knee and been evidently gutted by the fact he won't surf again. Then, Bec's done a great job with Ruby and her feelings for Romeo. Also, Robert's been great as the unapproving, but supportive Dad encouraging Indi to sort things out and being not so thrilled when she's hooking up with Logan.

So anyway, I guess this is a bit of a summary of the whole hopeless marriage breakup and contrasting similar and opposite scenes and lines with how determined the two were to be married not even a year ago. I found it quite amusing when creating this and seeing how much changed over this year and how so much that they've said has been phrased to the total opposite of giving up. My personal favourite similar-line? Sid's: "Exactly. Which is why I know you're making a huge mistake" compared to his,
"Exactly. Which is why I don't want to see you and Romeo make the same mistake, sweetheart"! It's almost word for word despite the time and circumstances parallel!


Anyway, still hoping that they get back together though, on much better grounds... Oh and can I just say that I've been highly impressed with H&A's songs covering this storyline?! They've used Snakadaktal's 'Air' and Blanche Dubois' 'Quiet Life' numerous times - two of my favourite songs!

"I haven't slept with her!" Romeo

"I kissed her. Once. I was drunk. But I felt so sick afterwards that all I wanted to do was make it up to you" Romeo
"Do you still have feelings for her?" Indi
"You have feelings for me at all?" Ruby
"Yes" Romeo

"Here I am thinking our marriage might be over and you're worried about surfing!" Indi
"What?" Romeo
"Forget it..." Indi
"Forget it?! Our marriage might be over, are you serious?" Romeo

"And I'm not gonna walk away without giving it a shot..." Romeo

"What about your marriage?!" Ruby
"I don't have a marriage..." Romeo
