A locomotive cab drive inside Podimenike, train from Badulla to Colombo. #Srilanka's upcountry train route is one of the most scenic in the world. The train is approaching Bandarawela station. I grew up as a railways child, as my father served in Sri Lanka Railways, also known as C.G.R, for more than forty years as a locomotive engineer. I have traveled by train all over Sri Lanka, wherever train goes, mostly inside the train locomotive.
