I'm OFFICIALLY A Purdue Grad! Looking Back At My Time at Purdue!

It gives me immense joy to say that I have officially graduated from Purdue University this past Sunday. I honestly feel a very mixed bag of emotions at the moment and if there's one word that describes how I fell, it would probably be "grateful."

1. Fun Fact: Purdue was initially not on my original list of shortlisted universities given that I was keen on going to the UK over the US. Expecting a bad economic climate in the UK is what prompted me to come to the US instead and it was honestly the best decision of my life!

2. The Admit: I still remember it like it was yesterday. I was watching a movie with my sister when I got an email notification saying that my Purdue decision was ready. On seeing the admit, I was ecstatic!

3. Favorite Class: Honestly, without being politically correct, all my classes at Purdue were top-notch. However, there were three that stood out for me the most. Two of them included Change Management and Team Performance, both of which were taught by Professor Benjamin Dunford. The other was the Introduction to Marketing Management Class taught by Professor Wreeto.

4. Extra-Curricular Activities: Purdue had no dearth of extra-curricular activities. I was part of the Writing Club and the Cause for Paws club. I was also a Daniel's Delegate and this selection is what prompted me to start Resilient Ratty in the first place.

5. The Melting Pot: Purdue was a melting pot of cultures and I was fortunate to have interacted with people from all across the globe. This was arguably the highlight of my experience here.

6. Favorite Moment: My favorite moments included working on the Marketing Analytics group assignments, the completion of which was beyond satisfying. One of these sessions was actually followed up the Starry Night Event at Purdue, which was one of my favorite events at the university.

7. Peer Learning: Being surrounded by some of the smartest people in the world meant that there was unlimited scope for peer learning and there is no substitute for the same.

8. Social Setting: I had two of my closest friends from Purdue in my marketing batch. They know who they are! Being a Daniel's Delegate made me interact with other students as well and consequently I had good connections with people from other programs as well.

9. Convocation: I think the convocation was a love letter to every student at Purdue from the university, with every student getting individual attention and the chance to shine!
