This presents some music theory that is essential to understand when approaching the Digitech The amazing Digitech Whammy 5 pedal. The "Harmony" side is very interesting, but this focuses just on the ten "Whammy" settings on the right side of the Digitech Whammy 5th generation. Re-imagining scales and chords in the context of the various modulations of intervals the pedal is capable of is very interesting. The most primitive riff of course is open A on the double octave setting used on Better Than The Real Thing by U2.

Tuning with the modified capo on the 2nd fret is E2 - A2 - E3 - A3 - C#4 - F#4. It works great with the basic cowboy (singer/songwriter) chords.
