2020-10-15 Baby Boy Barks Below the Boo

#PandaStory: Earlier this afternoon, mother Mei Xiang decided to have a bamboo snack in the den. As an aside, if you've never seen a panda strip leaves off and fist them together to eat, you're in for a treat! Mei Xiang shows us exactly how it is done, and one day her little boy will watch her and learn how to do it too! But for now, our sleeping cub does not much like bamboo ... especially when his mother repeatedly brushes it up against him. Like he did during his exam yesterday, cubbie barks at this intrusion to his nap time, numerous times! And it appears once again cubbie has caused his mother Mei Xiang to start honking! So ferocious, our little one. (And yes, he is still the smallest of Mei Xiang's cubs at this age, but he's catching up to big sister Bao Bao!).
