If you don't like looking at or hearing Athena's "Shining Crystal Bit" super, then you might get a little upset. I decided to use it after most of her combos because I became hooked on it.
To be honest, you don't need to use it as a combo ender all the time, you can use Psycho Sword (DP+p) instead to end at least 70% of the combos in this video (If not all).
I'm glad that Athena is back to her old self in this game. After XII I didn't have much hope, but she seems complete in this and is very fast with it. Using her teleport in a Drive-Cancel combo is a good way of pushing your opponent into the corner where she can inflict massive amounts damage.
She can do good damage out of the corner to, but its easier in the corner.
Athena is very good. Her pokes don't have much reach, but she doesn't really need it when you consider her teleport and qcb+p (fireball)
