These baits catch bass during what I consider one of the toughest months of the year - September! September is a transition month and they move fast. They are in those trusty summer spots one day and GONE the next. Where did the bass go and what can you do to catch them? Let's cover some of MY FAVORITE baits for September and the Summer to Fall Transition!

Topwater is always going to be one of my favorite ways to catch bass and the summer to fall transition in September can have a great early morning bite. When they sun comes out and the bass go down the underspin and jig can pick up the September fall transition slack!
